Pleasure Point Music, Vol. 1 is the debut album from Rob Owen and Damon Danielson, featuring a hooky and eclectic blend of California pop.

Pleasure Point Music Publishing is the brainchild of the award-winning California songwriting duo of Rob Owen and Damon Danielson. The project’s debut release is Pleasure Point Music, Vol.1. The CD features an eclectic blend of California pop – all reflecting the bright, upbeat soundscape of the coastal paradise that surrounds their studio. Riding on their eight new musical ‘waves,’ Danielson and Owen have ‘popped up’ with Pleasure Point Music, Vol.1.

The album’s eclectic collision reflects the unique chemistry of Danielson and Owen’s decades of combined songwriting experience across an array of genres. As a team, the two songwriters are able to tap into genres ranging from dance and house – all the way to acoustic rock. The result gives Pleasure Point Music, Vol.1 a wide market appeal to radio and opportunities for placement in TV, film, and movies.

Damon Danielson’s past successes include penning the number one hit song, “999-One More Reason” for renowned Japanese female rock guitarist Mari Hamada. Rob Owen’s career as both a songwriter and performing artist includes his compositions featured on the likes of MTV’s The Real World, various Indie films, and licensing deals.

There are eight total tracks on the album. Four are full performance mixes, and four are their instrumental versions. The instrumentals are aimed at the sync-music market – while the full versions are being released to Pleasure Point Music’s growing fan base and radio. Owen describes the music as, “… imagining Calvin Harris, Rob Thomas, and Mumford & Sons collaborating.”

Key tracks on the album include the house/dance amalgam, “Looking for a Love,” as well as the up-tempo, acoustic-rock favored, “California Here I Come.” Owen and Danielson plan to continue to release their music as volumes – the next due out in 2016.
