North America Institute of Technology reported today that an estimated 57% of all hospital admissions are alcohol related either through accidents, injury, rehab, or disease. Alcoholism in the U.S. is on the rise at an alarming rate. Currently 17.6 million U.S. Adults are estimated to be alcoholics, or 1 out of every 12 adults is estimated to be an alcoholic. But new hope is on the horizon as a new medical test may determine that alcoholism is a medically treatable condition.

BioTrek Laboratories Corporation of Atlanta, GA announced the release of a breakthrough medical test that may hold the answers for millions of people worldwide suffering from alcoholism and for many, possibly turning this addiction into a treatable medical condition.

For decades the medical community has argued amongst itself if alcoholism was a genetic disorder, or not. BioTrek Labs Spokesperson, Kate Thomas, stated millions of people worldwide are addicted to alcohol, and the numbers are growing every day. From our research we have determined that this condition may be as simple as a high level and insatiable need for sugar. The fastest way to load sugar into the human body is through the consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Hill went on to say; the cause may be as simple as gram negative bacteria producing a toxin known as “Endotoxin”. Endotoxins are documented to be one cause of obesity and also produce an unchecked desire for sugar in the persons which it infects. Until now there was no way to medically test for endotoxins in the human body. Our staff of researchers has patented three new medical tests this year, two of them have never been seen before and one of them is the E-100 Endotoxin test.  If a person exhibiting the symptoms of alcoholism tests positive for Endotoxins there is a high probability the condition may be medically manageable with the correct medication and treatment.

Hill went on to say with possible medical treament for alcoholism on the horizon this could save health insurance companies, employers, and other associated indutries billions of dollars per year by simply changing the standard treatment for alcoholism. In a recently published report from NAIT, estimated that more than half of all hospital admission are due to alcohol related illness, associated injury, or disease. This new medical test is simple, fast, and cost effective giving physicians a new path for the treatment of what was previously though to be a disease with much greater complications.

Hill further stated, “It’s still early, as more persons suffering from this type of addiction are tested, and are treated we will have more data to confirm.”
