eMarketing Gurus Releases Info on Proper Placement of Call-to-Actions on Website

eMarketing Gurus has released information on the proper placement of Call-to-Actions on a website. In addition, they have also released a Cliks IT review to better inform marketers:

Getting more conversions online takes a lot of hard work and it is not always about saying the right things. You can tell a prospective customer all the good things about a product and/or service, but that might not be enough. You might even throw in the odd ‘BUY NOW!’ and hope it works, but that is not always the case. In fact, it is often the placement of the calls to action that do the most damage with regards to how your conversions look. It is important to get the placement right and the rest will fall into place on its own. Let’s take a look at a few tips that you can follow with regards to placement.

Contextual Works

There is nothing better than throwing in the links and/or calls to action right in the text itself. This means, don’t just put out a separate button because that might not do the trick and most people are not looking for that. However, if they are already reading the content and then they see this contextual link, it becomes easier for them to go ahead and click. This is where you are going to start seeing conversions.

Above The Fold

Try to keep the calls to action ‘above the fold’. What does this mean? The goal is to ensure the person does not have to scroll on the page in order to get to the call to action. This is often a major hurdle because once the person has to scroll, they may never get that far into the content before moving to another website and/or page. This is going to decrease the amount of conversions that are coming in and that is going to harm the bottom line at the end of the day.
